Chiropractic Adjustments
Improves neuromusculoskeletal function
Chiropractic care consists of small and precise painless movements that help to recover the natural movement of the joints. Hence, each session is called “an adjustment”. When a joint loses its natural movement can interfere with the rest of the body and especially the function of the nervous system when the one that does not work properly is a joint of the spine.
The objective of the adjustments is to improve the mechanics of the body and especially the function of the nervous system, so that the whole body works at full capacity.
Chiropractic adjustments are:
Specific for each person and situation
Completely safe and without any risk
Painless
What is a vertebral subluxation?
When the joints of the vertebrae do not move well, they can interfere with the nerves that pass through the spine. Vertebral subluxations create an interference in the nerve impulses/communication and these interferences can diminish the autoregulatory capacity of the nervous system on the functions of organs and tissues of the body.
Depending on each patient, the chiropractor will make adjustments in different areas, usually focusing on the spine, pelvis and / or skull. Sometimes it is necessary to work with other areas, for example the jaw, diaphragm, limbs, etc.
