Dr. Kephra Froehlich
Dr. Kephra Froehlich, DC, CC, graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 2003, the birthplace of chiropractic. He has practiced in Spain, New Zealand, and Ireland, and currently serves as the owner and director of Pura Vida Chiropractic, a multidisciplinary clinic in Barcelona.
A tenured professor at Barcelona College of Chiropractic (BCC), Dr. Froehlich leads the Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT) department and directs the SOT club. He also lectures at UNEVE University in Mexico City. Dr. Froehlich has taught for SORSI, SOTO Europe, and various chiropractic associations, and was named Chiropractor of the Year by SORSI in 2020 and by BCC in 2018.
His expertise in SOT, which he embraced in 2011, has transformed his clinical outcomes and fueled his passion for teaching the technique globally. He holds certifications as an SOT Craneopath (one of only two in Spain), CMRT specialist, and in the Webster technique for breech pregnancies.
Dr. Froehlich is a respected international speaker, with engagements across Europe, Mexico, the U.S., and Brazil. He is married with two daughters and enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
Dr. Thomas Jacob
Dr. Thomas Jacob was born and raised near Lyon, France, where he nurtured his dual passions for theater and the study of anatomy and neurology. His journey into chiropractic began with a transformative visit to a chiropractor in Paris, which ignited his fascination with the holistic integration of physical and mental health.
In 2023, he completed his Master’s in Chiropractic at the Madrid College of Chiropractic, drawn to Spain by its unique blend of Art, Science, and Philosophy that shapes its chiropractic practice.
Dr. Jacob specializes in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), known for its comprehensive and adaptable approach, and is committed to delivering personalized and effective care to his patients.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Jacob enjoys engaging in a range of activities including studying, singing, dancing, sports, theater, and comedy shows, which he shares with friends.
Dr. Kristian Kittl
Dr Kristian Kittl brings more than a decade of clinical experience and currently runs his own practice in Berlin, where he has developed a patient-centred approach focused on precision, humanity, and effective results.
He began his healthcare journey by earning his Heilpraktiker qualification in 2012. In 2018, he completed a Master of Science in Chiropractic, integrating advanced manual techniques with a clinically grounded, evidence-informed approach.
Since 2017, he has been actively involved in SOTO Europe seminars, deepening his expertise in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) and completing the SOT Proficiency examination in 2019. From 2020 to 2023, he served on the Board of Directors of SOTO Europe and worked as a table instructor, contributing to the training of chiropractors across Europe. In 2023, he passed the Advanced SOT Proficiency Exam by SORSI, one of the highest international certifications in SOT.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Kittl remains committed to ongoing education and professional exchange, keeping up-to-date with the most current developments in chiropractic and sacro occipital therapy. He is married and a father of two, and places great value on the balance between wellbeing, movement, and family life.
Esther Ràfols
Head Chiropractic Assistant at Puravida Chiropractic
As the Head Chiropractic Assistant, Esther plays a crucial role in onboarding new patients. She ensures that each new patient is seamlessly registered with the clinic and becomes familiar with chiropractic care, guiding them through their initial experience with professionalism and care.
Having discovered chiropractic over 20 years ago, Esther has consistently relied on it for her own health and that of her family. She joined the Puravida Chiropractic team in 2022, where she contributes her positive energy and dynamic approach.
“To me, the true value of medicine is in fostering mental and physical balance naturally, while honoring the body’s innate power,” she asserts with dedication.

Flora began her career as a chiropractic assistant in 2002 and has over 20 years of personal experience in chiropractic care, which has deepened her commitment to helping others discover its benefits. Since joining the Puravida team in 2022, her warmth and dedication have been integral to creating a positive environment for patients and staff alike.

Barbara Bogado
Chiropractic Assistant at Puravida Chiropractic
Bárbara brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine passion for holistic wellbeing to the Puravida Quiropráctica team. As a chiropractic assistant, she supports patients at every stage of their care, ensuring they feel comfortable, understood, and supported throughout their healing process.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and now based in Barcelona for almost four years, Bárbara has a rich background in body-based disciplines. Before joining Puravida, she dedicated her career to teaching stretching, contortion, and acrobatics, exploring the deep connection between body, mind, and vital energy.
